About the SEA Task Team Workspace
Strategic Environmental Assessment refers to a range of "analytical and participatory approaches that aim to integrate environmental considerations into policies, plans and programmes and evaluate the inter-linkages with economic and social considerations."
The Strategic Environmental Assessment Network is open to experts and practitioners in the field of SEA and provides the opportunity to engage in dialogue, exchange experiences, and share materials on SEA in development cooperation.
The new OECD Guidelines and Reference Series "Apply Strategic Environmental Assessment: Good Practice Guidance for Development Cooperation" and other guidance applications are available. We encourage you to post your experiences and comments to these guidance documents as well as to share your own resources and tools. The website also offers a library of environmental assessment documents, events, case studies and weblinks.
This Network and the OECD SEA Guidance are products of the OECD DAC ENVIRONET Task Team on SEA - a group of international experts which aims to engage in dialogue, exchange experiences and share resources. See Partners for links to Task Team Partner Institution Websites. All information on this Network is open to the public, apart from working documents of the Task Team Programme. Task Team Members should log in to access all private materials.
